Asking a chatbot a question is easy. It is like you asking me a question. Or it is like someone asking you a question. The question is, most likely, starting out to be simple. And so is, most likely, the answer. So, to get somewhere more meaningful, we typically chat about the issue, that is, we say one thing or another as a follow-up, listen to the response, and say more specifics in return, and so on – until we are mutually satisfied regarding an understanding of the issue. We call that having a conversation, a discussion, a talk, or a chat, etc.

It usually takes some back-and-forth to reach a state of mutual understanding and satisfaction between two people. Talking to a chatbot, however, seems unnatural to many. But chatbots are designed to be as approachable as humans. Needless to say, they are not human. Robots can reason but they do not have desires the way humans do.

However, you will not ask me questions for which you know that I have no good answers. And you may have buried questions in the depth of your mind for which you never found anyone who could likely provide a good answer. All that now is water under the bridge.
